Getting Started
MCQIndia is an online quiz platform where you can test your knowledge across multiple subjects and topics using Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each quiz is generated with random questions so you get a fresh challenge every time.
Click on the Register button in the top navigation bar. Fill in your name, email, username, and password, then click Create Account. Once registered, you can log in and start taking quizzes immediately.
Yes, MCQIndia is completely free. You can register, take unlimited quizzes, and track your progress at no cost.
Taking Quizzes
After logging in, click Take Quiz from the navigation. Select a subject (and optionally a topic), choose the number of questions and time limit using the sliders, then click Start Quiz.
No! Questions are randomly selected from the question bank each time you take a quiz. This means every attempt gives you a different set of questions.
If you set a time limit and it runs out, the quiz is automatically submitted with your current answers. Any unanswered questions will be marked as incorrect.
Yes! After completing a quiz, you will see a detailed results page showing explanations for correct answers and reasons for incorrect ones.
Negative Marking is an optional scoring mode you can enable when starting a quiz. When enabled, you earn points for correct answers (default +4) and lose points for wrong answers (default -1). You can customize the point values before starting the quiz. Unanswered questions receive 0 points. Your total score cannot go below 0.
Scores & Progress
In standard mode, your score is (Correct Answers / Total Questions) x 100%. With Negative Marking enabled, your score is calculated as: (Correct x Points for Correct) + (Wrong x Points for Wrong). The minimum score is 0.
Go to your Dashboard to see all your statistics including total quizzes taken, average score, best score, score trends, and recent quiz history.
Subjects & Difficulty
The available subjects depend on what has been configured by the administrator. You can see all available subjects when setting up a quiz.
Questions are categorized into Easy (basic concepts), Medium (good understanding required), and Difficult (advanced knowledge and application).
